Mission Statement of East Rochester United Methodist Church

 

We see our mission as working to bear the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world.  We desire to be a spirit led ministry that will follow Christ and not man.  We will endeavor to serve God in whatever way He calls us to.

We are a ministry that has no status with the government, that no government can tell us what we can or cannot do.   We have no political ties, either on the left or the right.  In other words we are aligned only with the Kingdom of Heaven.  Our source is Christ, or mission is guided by the Holy Spirit.
